Bagged Rock Salt

Nearly 100% sodium chloride, our bagged premium halite rock salt is treated with YPS anti-caking agent to help prevent clumping. It comes in 50lb bags, and there are 49 bags per pallet. Note that Rock Salt begins to lose its effectiveness when temperatures fall below 15°F.

Calcium Chloride Flakes 

Calcium chloride’s high-performance properties make it superior to rock salt and other ice-melt materials. Calcium Chloride Flakes also act as a wonderful dust control products during warmer seasons.

Calcium Chloride Pellets

Comparative performance tests and scientific research prove that Calcium Chloride pellets are the premier choice for melting snow and ice. With its fast melting action and cold-temperature performance, PELADOW™ is easily distinguished from other ice melters: it contains 90% calcium chloride, which penetrates ice up to 3 times faster than competing materials, releases heat to speed melting, and performs in a wider range of winter temperatures, even extreme cold.

Magnesium Chloride Flakes 

Magnesium Chloride is a pure and natural high performance ice melt that starts working immediately, melts more ice at lower temperatures, leaves no residue, is less damaging to concrete, and is safer to use for people, pets, and the environment. MAG® is extracted from the Dead Sea by the natural evaporation of seawater and a simple refinement process. MAG®’s very low toxicity makes it much safer to use around residential areas and workplaces. Compared to calcium chloride and rock salt, Magnesium Chloride is less corrosive to metal surfaces, creates less concrete spalling and is less toxic.

Safe N Sure® Pellets

Environmentally friendly option that contains a special blend of sodium, calcium, potassium, magnesium, & CMA (calcium magnesium acetate), which is a corrosion-inhibitor. Breaks up ice and melts faster then rock salt, works as low as -25°F. Color coated to provide higher visibility and coverage before and after events.
